Mares

Quality mares are the backbone of any successful breeding program. CaMiKy has acquired a small but enviable group of exceptional mares for our program. Their pedigrees are rich with some of the most noted and sought after bloodlines in the Arabian breed today, including legends such as *Padron, Bey Shah, *Bask, Bay el Bey, and El Hilal, Le Fire, Khemosabi, and Ariston, just to name a few. We look forward to a bright future with the foals out of these mares, by our stallion Padrons Hudsonbey as well as by select outside stallions.


OUR STETSON DAUGHTERS

CaMiKy Arabians is proud to have four daughters of the dynamic Bey Shah son Stetson Bey. Stetson is out Baskeena, a daughter of the immortal *Bask. He was successfully shown Country Pleasure Driving, having the motion and presence to win in that discipline. His size (15.2), type and athletic ability is clearly apparent in his daughters.

Enjoli Bey
Joli is our 15.3 hand Stetson daughter out of Palmika by *Parik (Aswan). Her dam was a champion halter and performance horse. Joli is a multi champion hunter pleasure and sport horse, her wins include the 2006 East Coast champion honors in Sport Horse Under Saddle ATR, with a Top Five in SHUS open.  She also has wins in hunter hack and working hunter and a reserve at halter.  She has served as an ambassador to her breed in many demos and at the 2004 Great Frederick Fair Horse expo.  Joli produced the first foal at CaMiKy in March 2005, an elegant, leggy, correct filly by Padrons Hudsonbey named CA Entiicing.  She has been bred back to Hudsonbey for 2007.

Trevorssiennabey
Sienna is our 15 hand Stetson daughter out of Firelaina (Le Fire x Aristanya by Ariston). Her dam is a multi champion halter horse, dam of a regional yearling sweepstakes filly, and produced a knockout filly by Hudsonbey in '05.. Sienna was champion in sport horse under saddle at only her second "A" rated show (reserve at her first!).  Currently in foal to Hudsonbey for 2007.

P.S. Stetson Girl
PS Stetson Girl (Leah) is our 15 hand Stetson daughter out of Hudson Valli Girl (Hudson Surf x Palmika).   She debuted after just a short time under saddle with open show wins in western pleasure, then began her "A" show career as a dressage/ sport horse, with wins in dressage and a reserve champion sport horse under saddle junior horse with only 2 1/2 months training.  During her limited 2006 show season she brought home blues in Liberty and Sport horse in hand, as well as beautifully representing the Arabian at the Great Frederick Fair's Equine Showcase.   Leah is also Dan's personal trail horse and the two are currently conditioning for their 30 mile endurance debut in November.  Afterward, Leah will return to show training and continue her career in 2007.

Angelique Bey

Possibly the best of all worlds!   2006 Region 16 Reserve Champion PB SHIH open mare in only her second sport horse outing, her first regional show!   She followed up her regional win with dual top fives in SHIH open and ATH at the '06 East Coast Championships.  When the opportunity to purchase Angelique became available in the fall of 2005 she was too good to pass up.  "Angel" grew up with Enjoli, but was sold to another owner.  She is a full sibling to Stetson Girl.  After 30 days halter training she was named champion mare in her first outing.  A phenomenal mover with a wonderful personality and great mind, Angel is spending the fall enjoying trail rides with Kyle.   She is in foal to Hudsonbey for '07, her first foal, then will continue what is sure to be a fabulous show career.

OUR OTHER QUALITY MARES

MS Dior

Our most recent acquisition is the lovely MS Dior (KMF Rico Suave x All About Style by Bey Shah).  This elegant mare will allow us to continue following our *Padron / Bey Shah crosses while not being too closely related to our Stetson daughters.  She has a long, fine neck, smooth body, level topline with very nice movement and looks to have excellent potential for breeding to Hudsonbey. Her dam has produced Regional winners and we look forward to Dior's '07 Hudsonbey foal.

Foxzee Roxzee
In October 2005, we sadly lost our beautiful Hudsonbey daughter, Foxzee Roxzee (x Zieralal by El Hilal).  Roxzee was a lovely mare, with size, substance, and type.  She was in foal to Stetson Bey at the time of her passing.  We were fortunate to have produced her only lifetime foal here, a stunning colt by Kkoi (Fairview Klassique x Sequoia Bey by Bey Shah) named CA Kkarizmatic.

Santans Penny

Penny is our 16 hand Thoroughbred, much like a warmblood in type and temperament.  She produced Hudsonbey's first Anglo Arab foal, CA Rock The Blues, in 2005.  In '06, she presented us with an amazing colt, CA Victorious.  "Vic" is huge, correct, and has been gifted with the best of both his parents.  He is sure to be a success in both the show and sport horse arenas.  Penny is taking a "leave" from maternity in '06 and is available for purchase.
